Import of goods to Russia from far-abroad countries increased by 32.3% in 2011 compared to 2010 and amounted 260.917 billion dollars, as showed by provisional data released by the Federal Customs Service of Russia."According to preliminary customs statistics for January-December 2011 the imports from foreign countries in value terms amounted 260 billion 916.6 million dollars as compared with the same period in 2010 it increased by 32.3%," - the Federal Customs Service said.

In December 2011 the value of import volume from far-abroad countries amounted 24.67 billion dollars that is by 11.9% more than in December 2010 and by 2.2% more than in November 2011.
